I’m just about to complete my second course at the selby centre with Shelley Kitchener and Gemma Gardner and I’m genuinely gutted it’s come to an end. I’ve even asked what other courses I can do. Both courses have been ran so smoothly from start to finish and I’ve had no end of support. Going through a pandemic while learning has been tough but both Shelley and Gemma have made the full thing just so simple. They supported us 100% even down to just checking in on me even when we were on a break.
I started the course as something to do and it’s brought out a passion in me I didn’t know I had. I love doing nails. I’ve now totally changed my career and for the first time in a long time I’m excited to see what the future holds.
They’ve given me confidence in myself and my ability and reminded me I’m more than just a mum. I may have started as just another learner but I’ve never been made to feel like this. They’ve always given that personal touch. Both of them have become friends and and they definitely made the courses what they were.
I’ve learnt so much and feel very confident in what I’m doing at all times due to the sheer volume of knowledge been passed to myself. Shelley clearly knows her stuff and no question has ever been silly to her. She takes the time to give you what you need and the passion oozes from her.
